My Story

Hi! My name is Cassidy. Creator of Lighthouse Catering Co. I've been passionate about food, food service & the event industry for many years.

If you haven't heard of  211 Main Company Bar, it's a restaurant located on Main Street in Port Dover, ON. This is where I started my career in 2013. My mother & step father opened 211 Main & I couldn't have been more excited to learn the ins & outs of the restaurant industry; including customer service, bar management & most importantly, the art of food. Fast forward to 2017 where I took over 211's kitchen entirely. This is where I started to broaden my career by catering events (big or small), creating seasonal menus & successfully managing a kitchen. By 2018 I was ready to expand my culinary knowledge & attended George Brown College to become a chef. 

My passion is of course, food & everything that comes with the art of cookery. However, catering & coordinating all aspects of events is where I thrive. I've decided to take a leap, step back from the restaurant industry and follow my true passion, catering and events.

With the help from my wonderful husband, parents & my go-to servers, we've catered and served events both big & small!
